The following subjects were arrested by the Mt. Carmel Police Department. All subjects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
05/04/2016-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 20 year old Tyler J. Huebner of Princeton, Indiana. Huebner was arrested after he was stopped for a traffic violation in 100 block of East Third Street. During the traffic stop it was discovered that Huebner was in possession of drug paraphernalia. Huebner was transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was cited for unlawful display of registration, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and he was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
Steven Brad Beasley, age 33, of Mt. Carmel was arrested by MCPD Officer’s after he was stopped for a traffic violation in the 800 block of Cherry Street. During the traffic stop it was determined that Beasley was wanted on a Clay County failure to appear warrant. Beasley was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was cited for disobeying a traffic control device and served the Clay County warrant. Beasley was held pending the posting of bond.
05/05/2016-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 21 year old James R. Dill III of Mt. Carmel. Dill was arrested after being stopped by police for a traffic violation in the 200 block of East 2nd Street. During the traffic stop it was discovered that Dill was wanted on a Wabash County failure to appear warrant. During the arrest of Dill it was discovered that he was in possession of drug paraphernalia and prescription drugs. Dill was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was served the failure to appear warrant, cited for disobeying a stop sign, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Dill is being held pending the posting of bond.
05/06/2016-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 20 year old Kyle R. Stewart of Mt. Carmel on a Wabash County failure to appear warrant. Stewart was arrested after he was observed in the passenger seat of a vehicle stopped by MCPD. The driver was released without charges and Stewart was transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was held on a $300.00 cash bond.
