
Carmi Police made two arrests Thursday and one in the early morning hours Friday. All three individuals are out with Notices to Appear, one thanks to the SAFE-T Act. 74-year-old Patricia Francisco of McLeansboro was pulled over near McDonalds around 3:30pm. The officer placed Francisco under arrest for Unlawful Display of Registration. Just after 11pm Thursday night, officers arrived at a 6th Street residence and arrested 60-year-old Steven Griffin on a charge of Criminal Damage to Property. He was taken to the White County Jail for booking, processed, and allowed to leave with a court date of June 17th. At the city limits on Route 1, just before 3am Friday, Carmi Police pulled over 28-year-old Jeremiah Morgan of Vincennes, Indiana. He was found to be Driving While License Revoked. Morgan was also given a NTA and a court date of June 17th. He was released just after 4am.
