MCPD arrest report 3/2-3/5

The following subjects were arrested by the Mt. Carmel Police Department.  All subjects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

03/02/2017-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 30 year old John R. Martin of Lawrenceville after he was stopped for speeding in a subdivision.  The arresting officer reported seeing Martin driving faster than the posted speed limit on Cherry Street and then pull into the Northwood/Bona Terra subdivision.  The arresting officer reported that Martin continued through the neighborhood.  Martin got to the end of Bona Terra and ran from the vehicle.  Martin was apprehended by the arresting officer and was subsequently arrested for DUI, driving suspended and fleeing or attempting to elude police officer.  Martin was transported to the Wabash County Jail and held pending the posting of bond.

Mt. Carmel Police arrested 38 year old Marshall R. Keneipp of Mt. Carmel after he damaged property in the 600 block of Division Street.  Keneipp was first taken to Wabash General Hospital for injuries he sustained during the incident.  After Keneipp was treated at WGH he was placed under arrest.  Keneipp resisted law enforcement resulting in another charge.  Keneipp was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was charged with criminal damage to property and resisting arrest.  Keneipp was held pending the posting of bond.

03/03/2017-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 54 year old Roger D. Dardeen of Mt. Carmel after police noticed him driving a 2005 Pontiac in the 500 block of Division Street.  The arresting officer knew that Dardeen was wanted on a Wabash County failure to appear warrant.  Dardeen was arrested and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was held pending the posting of $200.00.

03/05/2017-Mt. Carmel Police arrested 43 year old Stephanie R. McCoy of Mt. Carmel after she was stopped for a traffic violation in the 500 block of Walnut Street.  During the traffic stop the arresting officer suspected McCoy was driving while impaired.   After submitting to field sobriety testing, McCoy was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence  of drugs.  McCoy was transported to the Wabash County Jail where she was cited for failure to dim lights, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and DUI drugs.  This was McCoy’s second DUI in a week and therefore was held pending the setting of bond by a judge.

Mt. Carmel Police arrested 20 year old Krystina D.S. Bredemeier of Mt. Carmel after she was observed operating a motor vehicle with a suspended driver’s license.  Bredemeier was stopped in the 500 block of Division Street and placed under arrest.  Bredemeier was transported to the Wabash County Jail where she was cited for driving while suspended.  Bredemeier was released after posting bond.
