A 36-year-old Enfield man is free following his arrest just after 5pm Wednesday. Cody Broadway was arrested by Carmi Police at the Dollar General after being stopped by law enforcement. Officers pulled Broadway over for having a suspended registration. During the stop, he also received citations for Possession of Adult Use Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle, Illegal Transportation of Alcohol, and Operating a Motor Vehicle while Registration Suspended for no insurance. Broadway was subsequently booked, processed, given a notice to appear and sent on his way just under three hours later.
