The following individual was arrested by the Mt. Carmel Police Department. All subjects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
On 10/22/2017, the Mt. Carmel Police Department responded to 504 Hydraulic Avenue in Mt. Carmel in reference to a domestic disturbance. When police arrived on scene they found a 61 year old male subject lying in the floor bleeding from his mouth and head. Police were told that the subjects son, Phillip R. Cross II, age 43, of Mt. Carmel struck his father multiple times in the face and head. Wabash General Hospitals EMS arrived on scene and called for Life Flight. The victim was then transferred to St. Vincent in Evansville. Cross was placed under arrest and charged with aggravated domestic battery. Cross is currently being house in the Wabash County Jail and is being held pending the posting of bond. The condition of the victim is unknown at this time.
