The 45th Annual Carmi-White County Invitational Tournament concluded this weekend with the Harrisburg Bulldogs winning their first CWCIT Championship since 2018.
Mt. Vernon finished in 2nd Place with a 3-1 record.
Fairfield finished 3rd with a 2-2 record.
Evansville Day School finished 4th with a 1-3 record.
Carmi-White County finished 5th with an 0-4 record.
Carmi lost to Fairfield on Friday by a final score of 49-31, before losing to Mt. Vernon on Saturday, 52-21.
The Bulldogs are now 7-12 on the year. They will have a few days off this week, they won’t play again until this Friday when they travel to Grayville.
The Carmi-White County Girls Basketball team is back in action tonight at home as they host Fairfield for a Black Diamond Conference battle. The Lady Bulldogs are 12-7 on the season with a 5-1 record in the BDC. Fairfield is 11-10 on the year with a 3-2 BDC record.
Fans can watch and listen to tonight’s game on 97.3 FM WRUL and the WRUL Sports YouTube Channel. Varsity will begin at around 7:20 PM.
