The Carmi-White County Boys Basketball team defeated Eldorado last night on the road by a final score of 67-56.
The Bulldogs trailed by as many as 11 in the 2nd quarter, but they were able to cut into the Eldorado lead and trail by just 2 at the half, 27-25. Carmi outscored the Eagles 22-16 in the 3rd quarter, and 20-15 in the 4th quarter to come away with the win.
Merick Millhorn led the Bulldogs in scoring with 18 points.
Gavin Holloman scored 15.
Mitchel Edwards scored 14.
Beck Huff scored 11.
Kade Stockton scored 9.
The Bulldogs improve to 11-13 on the year and 4-4 in the Black Diamond Conference. The Bulldogs will host Hamilton County at McDougal-Evers Gymnasium on Friday Night.
The Carmi-White County Girls Basketball team will host Harrisburg tonight at McDougal-Evers Gymnasium in the Battle of the Lady Bulldogs.
Carmi comes into tonight’s game with a 16-9 record, meanwhile Harrisburg comes in with a 23-6 record. Fans can watch and listen to tonight’s game on 97.3 FM WRUL and the WRUL Sports YouTube Channel. Varsity will tip-off at around 7:30 PM.
