The Carmi-White County boys track team hosted the CWC Invite yesterday at Harrington-Jeffries Sports Complex, the Bulldogs finished in 2nd Place behind Fairfield with a team score of 136.

1st Place finishers for the Bulldogs were;

Beck Huff in the 100 Meter.
Jayde Albright in the 200 Meter.
Kale Wiggins in the 110 Meter Hurdles.
Gavin Peyton in Shot Put.
The 4×1 Relay Team of Wiggins, Huff, Noah Pollard, and Nelson Rider finished in 1st Place with a time of 44.4 seconds. That breaks the previous CWCHS record of 44.5 seconds that was set in 2006.

The Carmi-White County softball team fell to West Frankfort in extra innings yesterday by a final score of 6-4. The Lady Bulldogs have their 5-game win streak come to an end as they fall to 16-5 on the year. 

Carmi was supposed to travel to Eldorado today, but that game was canceled due to Eldorado having low numbers. The Lady Bulldogs will have the rest of the week off, they’ll begin a conference series with Fairfield on Tuesday. 

The Carmi-White County baseball team fell to Mt. Carmel on the road yesterday by a final score of 8-4. The Bulldogs fall to 15-5 on the year, they will travel to Eldorado this afternoon. 

The Carmi-White County boys tennis team will be in action today as they travel to Mt. Carmel.
The Carmi-White County girls track team will travel to Fairfield today for the Lady Mule Invitational.
