A Dale, Indiana woman was so blazed, she was driving the wrong way on I-64 and eventually hit an Indiana State Trooper’s patrol car. 52 year old Angela Ayer had a blood alcohol content of nearly 3 times the legal limit. The accident happened near the 33 mile marker, and was after Ayer blew through mile marker 35 where another trooper had his emergency lights and siren activated in an attempt to get the woman’s attention and stop the wrong way driver. Ayer refused medical treatment and was taken to the Warrick County jail where she remains behind bars, charged with Driving While Intoxicated.
