
A Crossville man is being held in the White County Jail after being arrested during a Warrant Check on Tuesday. Deputy Simmons with the assistance of Deputy Brown and IDNR Officer Meadows went to a residence on W Main in Crossville to execute the warrant on 58 year Sherman R Hilborn. Hilborn was wanted on Cook County Warrant for Possession of Meth. When the officers arrived at the residence they located Hilborn in the garage. After explaining the warrant Hilborn was placed under arrest and transported to the White County Jail where bond was set at $4500.

July 20, 2023 at 3:06 pmThis might not have happened, if he was released to a rehab facility or halfway house. Instead of paroled back to the house ( known drug house) and to the party thats also known as a Meth dealer. Lock him up.
