Sunday, Oct. 7 will be a busy day in downtown Grayville as the Grayville Chamber of Commerce will host the 12th annual Car, Truck and Motorcycle Show.

This year’ show will honor the memory of the late David Downs, a long-time Grayville “hot-rodder” who passed away earlier this year.

Registration will run from 8 until noon that day. Trophies will be presented at 2p.m. There will be a number of trophies presented in several classes including; The Queen’s Choice, Mayor’s Choice, Best of Show, Top 55, Judges Choice 2000 or newer, Three Rat Rod awards and three top motorcycles. Dash plaques will be given to the first 100 vehicles and there will be participant giveaways throughout the day.

There will be food available, along with inflatables and games for the kids and a 12 and under bicycle drawing.

Additional information is available by calling Darrin Harrington at 618-375-2369 or Rick Conner at 618-375-3051.

Organizers of the event urged local residents to mark their calendar and come out for what is generally a top notch car show.
