Egyptian Health Department Reports Zero New Cases of COVID Tuesday

Egyptian Health Department is happy to announce that zero new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) were reported for April 6, 2021. Please remember to continue to wear a mask, wash your hands, watch your distance and to get vaccinated! For vaccine opportunities, please visit: tinyurl.com/EHDVaccine

To date, Saline County has had a total of 2,591 lab confirmed positives, including 53 deaths, White County has had a total of 1,753 lab-confirmed positives, including 26 deaths, and Gallatin County has a total of 496 lab-confirmed positives of COVID-19, including 3 deaths. The Illinois Department of Public Health, their healthcare provider, and the individuals have all been notified and are monitoring the situation.

To help slow the spread of COVID-19 in our communities, please answer your phone. Contact Tracers may be calling you to let you know that you have been exposed to a confirmed COVID-19 positive. Remember to maintain physical distancing of 6 feet or more at all times.

If you have been tested for COVID-19, please remember that you have to isolate at home until you have received your test results. Please note: If you have received results for a COVID-19 Rapid Test– ???????????????? or ????????????????– you should still ?????????????? until you receive your lab-confirmed results. IDPH announced that Illinois had a total of 2,931 new confirmed cases and 13 additional deaths. Bringing the total of 1,261,667 confirmed cases and 21,395 deaths in Illinois.
