Crossville Man Who Eluded Law Enforcement mid May Captured

A Crossville man who eluded law enforcement about a month ago was caught up with this week and finally taken in.  Wednesday morning, Carmi Police and White County Sheriff’s authorities were notified 24 year old Logan Ray was spotted in Crossville.  You may remember (story linked below) Ray was the man that ditched the 4 wheeler he was on and ran from law enforcement while the officer was trying to place him under arrest mid May.  Officers converged on Ray in Crossville Wednesday finding him in the passenger’s seat of a truck pulling into a lot at 201 North Cross Street.  He was placed under arrest without incident and processed into the White County Jail.  The Posey County Indiana warrants Ray was wanted on were for Driving While License Suspended with a Prior and Petition to Revoke Probation.  In addition, Ray was charged with Resisting Arrest.  Bond was set at $3,000 for the Posey County warrants and $250 for the White County charge.  Ray posted bond on the White County charge, paid the booking fee and was in court according to online records Thursday where he pled guilty.  He was given 2 years of conditional discharge and ordered to pay costs.
