Carmi resident Charley Buchanan, aged 28 of Sycamore Street found herself in trouble Tuesday afternoon following a traffic stop by Carmi PD. Buchanan was discovered driving while license revoked. In addition to that charge, Buchanan has been arrested on a Failure to Appear Warrant out of Edwards County on a traffic offense. She was pulled over in the 1 o’clock hour Tuesday afternoon and booked a short time later. She bonded out to $300 cash plus her failure to appear fee and booking charge. Buchanan is no stranger to law enforcement and court records indicate her next court appearance is coming up in early August at Edwards County. She’ll next appear in White County Court a few days later in front of Judge Tedeschi.
