The Carmi White County School Board will meet in regular session at 7 o’clock this evening at the Jefferson Attendance Center Annex Building.
The meeting will open with a public hearing at 6:45 in relation to the district’s annual budget. There will be time for public comments, however comments concerning district personnel should be made in closed sessions of the board.
The board will cover a number of items during the regular meeting, which is open to the public. Those items include the Fiscal Year 2024 Budget, a school maintenance grant, along with a review of board policy concerning the prevention of and response to bullying, intimidation and harassment.
The board is expected to also hold an executive session, with possible action to follow concerning resignations, employment and approval of new district employees and volunteers.
