Austin told the club that his business handles all types of electronic repair and consulting jobs. They offer 90 day warranties on the work they do, which includes: cell phone, computers, lap tops, tablets, and just about any other electronic devices.
They also do something unusual in today’s business world; they do house calls and business calls to work on problems that cannot be brought in to the shop. Rates for house calls start at sixty dollars per hour, then drop to fifteen dollars per hour after that.
When they face an issue that cannot be taken care of locally, they partner with a company in Evansville to take the problem there.
Glitch Tech is located on Main Street in downtown Carmi. They are open nine to five, Monday through Friday, and are available on Saturdays by appointment only. You can reach Austin at 618-380-1221.
In club business, Randy Adams won the 50/50 drawing but was not able to pick the winning ball to claim the day’s growing cash jackpot. JR Hubele was named the day’s phantom.
The Carmi Rotary club meets every Thursday at noon at the First United Methodist Church on Main Street in Carmi. Anyone wishing to learn more about this civic organization is welcome to attend a meeting or speak with any Carmi Rotarian.
