The Carmi Police Department arrested 45 year old Scott Campbell on Tuesday morning at his residence on Fackney Street. Campbell was taken into custody at 9:46am on a Gallatin County warrant for failure to appear on a traffic offense. Campbell was transported to the White County Jail, and later released after posting a $150 bond and paying booking and failure to appear fees.
18 year old Christopher Fulkerson of Equality was arrested following a traffic stop on Slocumb Street at 1:20pm for driving with a suspended license. After Fulkerson was in custody, a search of his vehicle turned up two pipes and a grinder with material that tested positive for marijuana. Fulkerson was transported to the White County Jail and released after posting a $150 bond.
