Carmi Police Make Two Arrest

Carmi Police made two arrests Monday, one a DUI, the other, a warrant arrest for failure to appear.

54 year old Tammy R. Ireland, 308 South State Street, Crossville was arrested just before 8 Monday night after she failed to stop at a stop sign at Main and Locust, here in Carmi.

Ireland was cited for DUI of alcohol, illegal transportation or possession of alcoholic liquor and disobeying a traffic control device.

Ireland posted $100 cash bond and a $20 booking fee prior to be released from custody.

Danny R. Buchanan, 46, 911 West Sycamore Street, Carmi was arrested just before 11 Monday night on a White County warrant for failure to appear on a charge of leaving the scene of a an accident with vehicle damage.

Buchanan posted $500 cash bond, a $75 failure to appear fee and a $20 booking fee prior to his release from custody.
