Carmi Police Make Three Arrests Saturday

Carmi Police made two arrests Saturday morning at Murphy’s USA in front of Wal Mart.  31 year old Michael James Sullivan of Carmi was arrested on two warrants for aggravated domestic battery.  He’s also being charged with an additional aggravated domestic battery charge from an incident earlier Saturday.  44 year old Brandi M Carter of Enfield is charged with aiding a fugitive and unlawful use of property.  Both individuals are being charged with possession of meth, possession with intent to deliver, and possession of drug paraphernalia.  In addition, Carter and Sullivan both face charges of possession of cannabis and cannabis paraphernalia, including just under 3 and a

quarter grams of meth, scales, $1,540 cash and a list of names and amounts were also confiscated.  Sullivan is being held on $11,000 bail.  Carter is behind bars with no bail set.  Those arrests were made just after 11:30 Saturday morning.

 

Carmi Police also arrested 27 year old Anna Alzate of Carmi Saturday when an officer spotted Alzate walking on Oak Street and knew she had an active warrant in White County.  She was taken into custody and booked without incident.  Alzate’s warrant stems from an Unlawful Violation of Stalking/No Contact Order and Disorderly Conduct.  Her arrest came around 11:30 Saturday night.  She bonded out to $150 plus her $20 booking fee shortly thereafter.
