Carmi Police arrested a 14 year old male juvenile Friday morning at Carmi-White County High School on a charge of theft. Beth Miller of Maunie reported to officers that a debit card had been used online without permission and signed a complaint. The juvenile was taken into custody at 11:17 am.
Saturday evening, Carmi Police were called to Walmart and arrested 54 year old Vicki Thomas of Granite City on a charge of retail theft. Thomas was placed into custody at 6:03 pm and transported to the White County Jail where she is being held in lieu of a $150 bond.
Just before 9 pm Saturday, Carmi officers pulled over 44 year old Amy Miller of Cantral City, Kentucky at the intersection of 6th and Oak Streets. A check showed that Miller’s license plates had been cancelled due to not having insurance. Officers then searched the vehicle and discovered a stun gun and brass knuckles. Miller was taken into custody and charged with unlawful use of weapons and cited for operating a vehicle with a suspended registration. She was transported to the White County Jail and later released after posting a $150 bond.
27 year old Jeffery Goff of Crossville was arrested by Carmi Police following a traffic stop Sunday evening. Officers pulled over Goff in the Dairy Queen parking lot at 5:15 and Goff was found to be driving on a suspended license and with no valid insurance. Goff was also cited for having an expired registration. Goff was later released from the White County Jail after posting a $150 bond.
