Carmi police make four arrests over weekend

29 year old Omaha resident Courtney N Brannon turned herself into the Carmi Police Department office on Friday at 6:18pm on a White County warrant.  Brannon was turned over to corrections officers at the White County Jail, and was later released after posting a $150 bond.

At 8pm Friday, 31 year old Charlie Goff of Carmi also surrendered himself at the Police Department on a White County warrant.  Goff was also turned over to corrections officers and later released on a $500 bond.

On Saturday, Carmi Police responded to a call about a theft.  Johnathan Campbell reported that sometime between Tuesday July 5 and Saturday July 9, someone had stolen a boat motor from a residence at 607 Shipley Street.

Sunday, Carmi officers arrested 22 year old Ashley Ricketts of Carmi following a traffic stop at the intersection of Lagoon Drive and 10th Street.  Ricketts was pulled over just before 11am, and was taken into custody for driving on a suspended license, and was also cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle.  Rickets was transported to the White County Jail, and was released after posting a $150 bond.
