27 year old Ashley Bebout of Carmi was arrested by Carmi Police following a traffic stop Tuesday night. Bebout was pulled over at 9:15 pm on Fackney Street and charged with driving on a suspended license and operation of an uninsured motor vehicle. Bebout was released after posting a $150 bond at the scene.
Just after midnight Wednesday, Carmi Police conducted a traffic stop at Plum and Main Streets, and arrested 26 year old Roger Conner of Norris City on a White County warrant for failure to appear on a charge of operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Conner was also charged with driving on a suspended license and a new charge of operating an uninsured vehicle. Conner is being held at the White County Jail on a combined bond amount of $550.
