Carmi Police received a report of theft from Fackney Street resident Alton Folz Sunday evening. The 22 year old tells Police someone took a weedeater and manual lawn mower from his truck while parked outside his residence.
Also Sunday, Carmi Police arrested 34 year old Summer Richardson of Belle Rive on Sycamore Street. During the traffic stop, the officer found Richardson driving with a suspended license and operating an uninsured vehicle. She was released to White County Ambulance personnel for transport to Hamilton Memorial Hospital and issued her citations.
Late Saturday evening, Carmi Police located Carmi resident Neola D. Wilson of 7th Street in Carmi on an adjacent street to her residence. Officers arrested her on an Edwards County Warrant for Failure to Appear on a DUI case. The 21 year old then became combative at the scene according to the report, but was eventually transported to the jail where again she was listed as becoming rambunctious. As a result, Carmi PD have given Wilson additional charges of felony Reisisting a Peace Officer resulting in injury. She’s currently jailed without bond.
