A McLeansboro man is free on bond after Carmi Police arrested him just before 8pm Tuesday. Officers pulled over 30-year-old Ethan Bell after they say he failed to use a turn signal turning onto Oak Street from 7th. Bell was then placed under arrest on a charge of Driving while License Revoked and issued a citation for Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle. Bell was also wanted on a Hamilton County warrant that dates back to September of 2024 in a Small Claims court case originally opened in 2023 there. Bell bonded out at 9:15pm and is due back in Hamilton County court for a status hearing in early March.
