The Carmi Police Department arrested 45 year old Lewis Hankins of Harrisburg early Sunday morning following a traffic stop in the CVS parking lot.
Hankins was taken into custody just after 1:30am and charged with driving on a suspended license, operation of an uninsured motor vehicle, and unlawful use of a weapon. He was transported to the White County Jail, and later released after posting a $300 bond.
