A Crossville man pulled over by Carmi Police on Thursday afternoon for having expired license plates was arrested after he was found to be driving on a suspended license and in possession of two loaded handguns.
70 year old Thomas McCord was stopped at the intersection of Kerney and Sherwood at 4:16pm and was taken into custody on charges of unlawful use of weapons in addition to the license violation. McCord was taken to the White County Jail, where he was later released after posting a $150 bond.
