The Carmi Police Department arrested two Carmi residents on out of county warrants on Thursday morning.
At 8:43am, 25 year old Jennifer Batteese was taken into custody at her residence at 625 Oak Street on a failure to appear warrant out of Gallatin County. Batteese was taken to the White County Jail and released after posting a $150 bond.
At 9:44 am officers arrested 30 year old Jerrod Reid at 625 Oak Street on warrants out of Moultrie and Jefferson Counties for failure to appear on charges of driving on a revoked license. Reid was also transported to the White County jail and released after posting a $300 bond on the Jefferson County warrant and a $500 bond on the charge from Moultrie County.
