Thursday afternoon, Carmi Police officers arrested 27 year old Nickolas Hays of Carmi on two counts of aggravated battery after an incident at the Carmi Public Library. Hays was taken into custody at 4 pm at the Library and transported to the White County Jail, where he is being held without bond pending a court hearing.
24 year old Daniel Poshard of Carmi was arrested by Carmi Police following a traffic stop early Friday morning. Poshard was stopped at the intersection of Partridge and Main Streets at 2:27 am and taken into custody for driving on a revoked license. Poshard is being held at the White County Jail in lieu of a $150 bond.
