An Oak Street Carmi man is facing new charges following his arrest Wednesday morning. 29 year old Jeffery Goff was stopped by Carmi Police in the McDonalds parking lot and arrested for driving while his license was suspended. In the process, it was also learned Goff had a Failure to Appear warrant out of Hamilton County. He was arrested back in January and again in May for the same crime. His May citations also came with Speeding and operating an uninsured vehicle charges. It obviously hasn’t stopped him from driving and he’s back out on the streets now after posting $250 cash bond and a $395 booking fee. His next appearance in court is expected to be a status hearing on August 22nd in McLeansboro.
