Carmi Council Meeting Tuesday
The Carmi City Council will meet for the last of its two monthly meetings Tuesday evening.
The meeting to get underway at 5:30 has two main items for the council to consider;
A resolution in support of the Illinois Oil and Gas Industry and a request for a Fourth of July fireworks donation from the Carmi Chamber of Commerce.
Other matters before the council include reports from the standing committees and Mayor Jeff Pollard.
There may be a closed session to discuss property and personnel issues but no action if expected to follow the executive session.
The Carmi City Council normally meets the first and third Tuesday of the month. The meetings are open to the public.
