Carmi Council Meeting Tuesday
The Carmi City Council will meet for the last time of 2018 Tuesday evening, for what appears to be a busy meeting.
Following routine matters, such as approval of minutes, financial reports and vendor invoices, the council will consider several items including insurance.
A service area agreement between the City and Wayne White Electric Cooperative will be discussed and likely acted upon.
Insurance, including property, liability and workers compensation will be covered with several proposals to be presented to the aldermen.
David Coston will present the council with information concerning a meter pilot program.
Other business includes reports from Mayor Jeff Pollard and the standing committees.
The meeting will begin at 5:30 in the council chambers and is open to the public
