Albion Police Chief Mike Judge tells WROY/WRUL News his department was called to an apartment building in town last night after 11pm to deal with a domestic dispute between a local man and his girlfriend. Albion Police charged both individuals with Domestic Battery. 22 year old Aaron Rice was lodged in the White County Jail early Thursday morning, while Rice’s girlfriend was given a notice to appear and released on her own recognizance due to a medical condition unrelated to the Wednesday night incident. Edwards County States Attorney Eric St. Ledger has been forwarded the charges. A court date for the two is pending.
