1961 - 2025
Stanford Lee Hunt, 65, of Carmi, passed away on Monday, May 26, 2025, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. He was born on Thursday, May 25, 1961, in Evansville, Indiana, the daughter of Billie and Patricia (Martin) Hunt. He married Sue Ellen Miller in 1991 and together they shared over 30 years of marriage before her passing on January 3, 2022.
Stan proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was retired having worked as machinist for Cessna Aircraft and ACME Foundry. Stan enjoyed working on cars, welding and fabricating. He liked to spend time with his friends and family.
Survivors include, his brother, William Hunt of Carmi and many friends.
Along with his wife Sue Ellen Hunt, Stan was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Cynthia Louise Hunt.
A gathering celebrating Stan's life will be held at a later date. Roberts and Cook Funeral Service has been entrusted with the arrangements.
