Alice May (Meyer) Gunter, 89, of McLeansboro, IL passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro.  Alice was born on February 23, 1936 in Parsippany, NJ to Henry & Elizabeth (Swartz) Meyer.

Carolyn Sue (Ward) Funkhouser, 80 of Grayville, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at Heart to Heart Hospice in Evansville, IN. She was born on Saturday, October 28, 1944, in Norris City the daughter, of Herman and Violet (Blue) Ward.

Beverley Lou Pyle, age 80, of Cisne, Illinois, passed away peacefully Monday, February 24, 2025, at her home. She was born December 11, 1944, in Fairfield.

Carmen Elaine (Newton) Webb, 74, of Opdyke, IL passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at StoneBridge Memory Care in Mt. Vernon, IL.  Carmen was born November 1, 1950 in Mt. Vernon, IL to Max & Alberta “June” (Braddy) Newton.

Daniel Lee Kuykendall, 64, of Grayville, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025, at his home. Danny was born on Friday, February 24, 1961, in Carmi, the son of Ronald Charles and Marilyn Joyce (Campbell) Kuykendall.

Kay Johnson, 84, of Norris City, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. She was born on May 23, 1940. in McLeansboro, Illinois, the daughter of Earl and Sarah (Webb) Ingram.

John David Myers, 80, of Carmi, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025, at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado, Illinois. He was born on November 28, 1944, in Carmi, the son of Arthur Maurice "Si" and Beatrice Elizabeth (Hall) Myers.

Ruby Charlene Maurer, 85, of Dahlgren, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at Silver Foxes Senior Living and Rehabilitation in McLeansboro.

She was born on June 14, 1939 in Decatur to Raymond Oliver Dyer, Sr. and Edna Jewel Dyer.

     Nancy L. (Holmes) Ledford of Carmi, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025, at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro. She was born on November 29, 1953, the daughter of Frank and Joanne Holmes of Dahlgren, Illinois. Nancy attended McLeansboro High School. She was a die hard Chicago Cubs fan, and enjoyed going to the American Legion baseball games. Nancy also liked attending the Eldorado Holiday Tournament when she was able. She enjoyed crocheting, reading and playing bingo at Wabash Christian Senior Living. The delight in her eyes was her great-granddaughter.
