Julia Lynn SimmonsAlbion, IL

Julia Lynn Simmons 66, of Albion, passed away at home on Tuesday June 3, 2023, with her husband at her side. She was born on February 25, 1959, in Mt. Carmel, the daughter of James and Betty (Crawley) Risley. She married Curtis M. Simmons, and he survives.

She was retired, having worked at the Wabash Coal Mine in Keensburg and at Ataraxia Illinois Medical Cannabis Cultivation Center in Albion.

Julia enjoyed flowers and loved spending time with her family.

Along with her husband Curtis Simmons of Albion, Julia is survived by her Son and daughter-in-law, Jon and Camilla Risley of Grayville and her grandchildren Marcus Risley, Kimber Risley, Larissa Cross and Alanis Risley.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Julia's life, will be held at a later date.
