Wolff Resigns as Lady Bulldogs Head Coach

The 2023-2024 season for the Carmi-White County girls basketball team will go down as one of the best in school history.

For Clinton Wolff, it was his best season as head coach, and it was also his final season.

Wolff told the team following their end-of-season banquet, and the decision was approved by the CWCUSD 5 Monday night.

Wolff took over as the Lady Bulldogs’ skipper in 2018. He spent four years coaching 6th grade boys basketball before joining his brother’s coaching staff as the CWC boys freshman coach in 2015.

Wolff finishes his career with a record of 71-98 in six seasons. Those 71 wins puts him 3rd all-time, behind just Don and Eric Dixon.

Wolff will continue to coach Carmi-White County football and boys track, but says he looks forward to spending more time with his wife and daughter during the winter months.

Congratulations to coach Clinton Wolff on a great basketball coaching career!
