Wabash Christian Village held their annual employee Christmas party on Thursday, December 7th. Several employees were recognized for their years of service. 1st row: Andrea May – 5 years, Crystal Tracy – 10, Ashlynn Peterson – 5, Marisa Hindsley – 5, Charla Schneider – 10, 2ndrow: Donna Pollard – 15, Sandra Bryant – 15, Mike Fields – 10, Heather Applewhite- 10, Crystal Watts – 5, Elizabeth Tucker – 5, Debbie Nunley – 5, and Melissa Cullison – 10. Those unavailable for the photo with 5 years of service were: Brooke Ande, Melissa Hamilton, Erica Hollon, Brittany Mathis, Brittany Strean, Sherry Sturgal, and Rosie Williamson; 10 years: Marlys Brown, Brenda Howard, Christina Russell; and 15 years: Kim Frymire. It is a tradition of Wabash Christian Village to present the Arthur L Bohleber award annually at the employee Christmas party. Mr. Bohleber was one of the original owners of Wilmar Restorium. The award was began in 2002 in his memory to recognize an employee who demonstrates consistent commitment to residents, customers, and fellow employees. The recipient is selected by their co-workers. Rachel McWilliams, Director of Nursing and last year’s recipient presented the award. The individual nominated this year has been an employee for 15 years and had been a 12 year employee prior to that. She is a hands on manager with a positive attitude and good sense of humor that is willing to help. Her kind personality shows through her acts of kindness and volunteering and of course you all know her best by her hashbrown casserole. This year’s Arthur Bohleber award winner is Donna Pollard.
