In the early morning hours of Friday, a White County Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a dark-colored vehicle driven by Tyler Dill. According to the report, the driver exited the car and lifted the hood while the passenger moved to the driver’s seat. The officer asked Dill why he got out of the vehicle, and Dill explained he was having mechanical trouble and that a female passenger would have to help him start it.
Dill notified the officer that he did not have his driver’s license or proof of insurance, and when the officer called dispatch, the license came back revoked.
While the officer was speaking with Dill, he noticed the smell of alcohol and that Dill’s eyes were bloodshot and glassy. A field sobriety test was conducted on Dill using a breathalyzer, which Dill failed.
Dill was placed under arrest for Aggravated DUI and Driving While License Revoked.
Less than an hour later on Friday morning, another White County Sheriff’s Deputy pulled over Mace Reggetz, who stated she did not have her license. The Deputy knew Reggetz had an active White County warrant for Criminal Damage to Private Property, and dispatch confirmed that.
Reggetz was transported to the White County Jail and, along with the warrant, was issued two citations: Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle and No Valid Driver’s License.
