32 year old Daniel K. Call of Columbus City, Iowa has been sentenced on multiple charges. Call received 4 years each on three felony convictions for Aggravated Unlawful Restraint, Domestic Battery and Aggravated Battery. Each of those convictions carry sentences ranging from 2-5 years. Call will also have multiple years of probation following his incarceration.
Phillip S. Burton, 28, of Carmi received a sentence of 3 years for his felony conviction on Possession of Meth charges. In addition, Burton was sentenced for DUI. He’s been recommended for the Impact Incarceration Program and will serve 364 days in jail for the DUI conviction.
Also sentenced Wednesday morning was 28 year old Bertha D. Reed of Mounds, IL. She was found guilty of Retail Theft, ca Class 3 Felony and will spend up to 4 years behind bars to be followed with supervised release. In addition to prison time, Reed was ordered to pay back $916 to Wal Mart for her crime.
