SPRINGFIELD, IL. – Do you know where your food comes from? Do you want to learn more about how the food you eat gets from the farm to your plate? Stop by the Illinois Department of Agriculture table inside the Lieutenant Governor’s tent to take part in the Farm to Plate Challenge.
This fun game takes place two times a day at 11:00 and 3:30 and everyone walks away a winner. This challenge will test your knowledge on agriculture commodities and their origin. It will also hopefully help you gain knowledge that you might not have known before. Topics of questions include fruits and vegetables, proteins, dairy, and grains.
