UPDATE:
Indiana State Police caught the two suspects who fled following a vehicle pursuit in Posey County yesterday. The suspects were found this morning at Caseys in Mt. Vernon thanks to a customer who called them in to authorities. Police say the vehicle pursuit ended near Bellefontaine Cemetery outside Mt. Vernon and the two ran into a cornfield making them difficult to find. Since then, we’ve learned the car was reported stolen out of Gibson County. The names of the arrested caught haven’t been released yet, though we’re told they’re on their way to being booked at the Posey County Jail.

Posey County authorities are working with Indiana State Police to track down a man and woman who fled police after a vehicle pursuit outside Mt. Vernon Indiana yesterday. The Posey County Sheriff’s Department reports the vehicle pursuit ended near Bellefontaine Cemetery north of Mt. Vernon. The man is described as white and was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and he has tattoos. The other subject a white female with a gray tank top and she was bleeding from her knees. Last night a citizen was approached at their home by the individuals. While the person called 911, the subjects ran back into a cornfield near the home. While law enforcement says there’s no immediate reason for danger, precaution is always the best response while subjects are at large.
