Stubblefield Resigns as Lady Dogs Skipper

2024 was a memorable season for head coach Kaylea Stubblefield and the Carmi-White County Lady Bulldogs softball team.

A season that featured a conference championship, their first regional championship since 2016, and a nail-biting loss to the eventual state champions in the sectional semifinal.

2024 was Kaylea Stubblefield’s winningest season as head coach, but it was also her final season.

At Monday Night’s Carmi-White County USD 5 meeting, the board approved Stubblefield’s resignation as the CWC Softball Head Coach.

Stubblefield took over as skipper in 2022, and over three seasons she compiled an overall record of 53-23, good enough for 3rd all-time in CWCHS history.

Congratulations to Kaylea Stubblefield on a great coaching career!
