MCLEANSBORO CITY COUNCIL
At the special meeting Thursday afternoon, which began at 3:30, the council agreed to continue negotiations with Hamilton County for central dispatch.
The went into executive session for 52 minutes to discuss the lease of real property owned by the city and specific job duty changes and modifications.
After the session they agreed to renew the lease on the Rubenacker property for 25 years at a cost of $85 a year, with the option for renewal for another 25 years.
Council also approved a committee consisting of the treasurer, council member Don Cox, Police Chief Dave Filkins and Mayor Dick Deitz to determine the cost and duties of establishing a central dispatch.
The meeting adjourned at 4:26 PM.
