Sheriff’s Dept. makes arrests, takes damage report

A Crossville man was arrested by the White County Sheriff’s Department on Monday on a charge of criminal damage to property following a domestic dispute.

30 year old Derek Randolph was taken into custody after he was accused of breaking out the back passenger window of a vehicle.  Randolph was taken into custody at 12:14pm and transported to the White County Jail, where he was later released after posting bond

 

33 year old Starlett Dunn of Carmi surrendered herself to the White County Sheriff’s Department on Monday afternoon to answer a White County warrant.  Dunn was placed into custody at 2:44pm at the Sheriff’s Office and was later released from the Jail after posting a $150 bond.

 

The Sheriff’s Department took a report of criminal damage to property after someone threw a brick through the window of a rural Norris City home. Serina McMahan told deputies that sometime before 7:30pm on Monday, the front window had been broken and it was observed that someone had also tried to gain access to the front door.  The property owner, Corrin Russell stated that she would sign a complaint if the person responsible was found.

A Norris City man was arrested early Tuesday morning by the Sheriff’s Department on a warrant from Williamson County.  At 2:46am, 33 year old Roman Yates was taken into custody at the Carmi Walmart and transported to the White County Jail.  Yates is being held without bail on a charge of sexual assault pending a court hearing.
