Friday evening, 29 year old Jessica Sharp of Carmi surrendered at the White County Sheriff’s Department on a Wayne County warrant for failure to wear a seatbelt and driving an uninsured motor vehicle. Sharp stated that she had not been in Wayne County in several years, and believed her twin sister had used her identification, which was missing. Sharp was advised to contact Wayne County authorities. She was released after posting a $150 bond.
Saturday night, White County deputies responded to an incident call in Crossville that resulted in an arrest for domestic battery. 69 year old Linda Browning was taken into custody at 7 pm after she was accused of slapping her son during an argument. Browning was transported to the White County Jail, and later was released on a recognizance bond.
