Last week’s sex offender compliance checks by the Carmi Police Department resulted in the arrest of a Carmi man Monday morning.
Just before 11 am, 31 year old Adam Cessna came to the Police Department to complete a registration update. It was discovered that Cessna had not been living at the residence listed at the provided address, and had been making out of state trips that were not reported.
Cessna was taken into custody and transferred to the White County Jail. He is being held without bond pending a court hearing.
