Senator Bailey Says Keeping Youth Safe and Healthy Act Would Introduce Pornography to Schools

State Senator Darren Bailey says if Senate Bill 818 becomes law, it will introduce blatant pornography into local school systems.  The Keeping Youth Safe and Healthy Act creates personal health and safety standards for grades K-5 as well as updates and expands comprehensive sexual health education standards in grades 6-12.  The goal according to the Illinois ACLU is to give young people information and tools they need to be safe and support responsible and informed decision making about their health and well-being throughout their lives.  Bailey says…

The Senate approved the measure on a vote of 37 to 18.  Bailey calls it dangerous legislation and is putting out a call to action for parents to get involved.

I encourage people to look this book up online to see its content. I did. It seems fine for highschoolers, but for 10 year olds…I DON’T THINK SO! I dont think 10 year olds need to know what oral and anal sex is. What ever happened to finding out about this stuff from the super uncomfortable ‘talk’ with your parents? Isn’t that an uncomfortable right of passage for the parents and kids that should be talked through at home? I would be super p!$$ed to find my school pushing this at 10 year olds. So glad I dont have young kids in school these days. It’s so ridiculous. Rant over. Just my personal opinion.
