Shimkus in Town
15th District U.S. Congressman John Shimkus will be in Carmi this afternoon for a special presentation.
Roy McCord, a Vietnam Navy Veteran will be presented replacement military service medals this afternoon at 2:30 at the Carmi VFW.
The medals include a Silver Star and Purple Heart.
