The following subjects were arrested by the Mt. Carmel Police Department. All subjects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
09/27/2016-Mt. Carmel Police arrested two individuals after drugs and a switch blade knife were found in a vehicle being driven by 35 year old Humberto E. Palma of Saint Anthony, Indiana. Palma was stopped in the 100 block of Market Street for a traffic violation. When the Officer approached the vehicle he noticed the driver had two knives in his lap. The driver then showed the officer one of the knives and it was identified as a switch blade knife. Palma was arrested and charged with unlawful use of a weapon and he was cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. A passenger in the vehicle was identified as Korin L. Crosetto, age 35, of Princeton, Indiana. Crosetto was also found to be in possession of switch blade knife. Crosetto was arrested and a search of her belongings resulted in MCPD Officer’s finding drug paraphernalia and narcotics. Crosetto was transported to the Wabash County Jail where she was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful use of a weapon, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of a hypodermic needle. Crosetto was held pending the posting of bond. Palma would later bond out on a $150.00 cash bond.
Mt. Carmel Police arrested 45 year old Michael D. Slunder of Patoka, Indiana after he was stopped leaving the Wabash County Jail. According to the police report, Slunder drove to the Wabash County Jail on a revoked driver’s license. Slunder went to the jail to bond out Humberto Palma and as he was leaving the jail a Mt. Carmel Police Officer noticed Slunder operating the vehicle. Slunder was stopped and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was cited for driving while revoked. Slunder was held pending the posting of $150 cash bond.
Mt. Carmel Police executed a FTA arrest warrant in the 500 block of Hydraulic Avenue in Mt. Carmel. Police arrested 38 year old Jamie K. Snow of Mt. Carmel after Gibson County advised they had a warrant for arrest. Snow was taken into custody and transported to the Wabash County Jail where she was held pending transfer to Gibson County.
