The following subjects were arrested by the Mt. Carmel Police Department. All subjects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
02/15/2017-Mt. Carmel Police arrested Timothy W. Morrison, age 39, of Mt. Carmel after he was observed operating a 2007 Chrysler in the area of 3rd and Cedar Street. MCPD Officer’s knew Morrison was wanted on a Wabash County warrant charging him with Theft and Vendor Theft. Morrison was taken into custody and is being housed in the Wabash County Jail pending the posting of $10,000 cash.
Mt. Carmel Police arrested 23 year old Travis A. Deisher of Mt. Carmel on a Wabash County warrant charging him with fleeing or attempting to elude a peace officer. On 02/04/2017, police attempted to stop Deisher while he was operating an ATV in the 200 block of S. Mulberry Street. Deisher failed to stop and led police on a short chase. MCPD Officers were able to obtain an arrest warrant for Deisher. When Deisher was taken into custody officer’s located suspected cannabis and a cannabis smoking device. Deisher was served the $300.00 cash bond warrant and issued ordinance violation citations for the cannabis and cannabis pipe. Deisher was held pending the posting of bond.
